At the tender age of 18 Irene began her career as a kinder garden teacher. In this way, she developed more and more understanding for the Inner Child and the necessity to precisely heal the pain of the child.
Since 1994 Irene has had a therapeutic practice in Elst (Gelderland) where she gives private sessions and supervision. She also works as a guest trainer in the training of the Institute for Integrative Breathwork Therapy.
Of utmost importance to her is the transformation of pain, sadness and loneliness into wisdom, strength, insight, trust and playful humour in her work. Irene is mother to a son and a daughter and has two grandchildren.
Irene speaks Dutch, German and English and is the representative of the Institute for Integrative Breathwork Therapy in the Netherlands. For questions concerning the courses available at the Institute of Breathwork Therapy
